Lamar Hardy, DO, FAAD, is a triple board-certified dermatologist opening Collo Rosso Dermatology in Chapin, South Carolina—the hometown where he was raised and attended high school. Board-certified in Micrographic Dermatological Surgery, Dermatopathology, and General Dermatology, he will offer full-time services after retiring from the Navy.
Dr. Hardy's journey began at The Citadel studying biology before serving as a US Navy pilot. After his decorated aviation career, he earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. His dermatology training took him from Naval Air Station Sigonella in Sicily to a residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, followed by a Dermatopathology fellowship at Walter Reed in Washington D.C., and advanced Mohs surgery training under Dr. Bruce Feldman.
Currently serving as Chair of Dermatology at Naval Medical Center San Diego and assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University, Dr. Hardy specializes in comprehensive dermatologic care including Mohs surgery, dermatopathology, laser medicine, Botox, chemical peels, and injectable fillers.
Outside the office, Dr. Hardy enjoys cycling and spending time with his wife Jennifer and their two children, Grace and Walter. Go Cocks!
